OverLook is a Web mail client forked from the SquirrelMail project. It attempts to change the look and feel and make it simpler to use.

Rspamd is an anti-spam system designed to work faster than SpamAssassin by using the event model and various optimizations. Its most important features include regexp and Lua rules for filtering different parts of messages, a number of built-in functions for analyzing messages, fuzzy hash support, SURBL filters, email and character table support, a control interface for remote managing and stats gathering, a Lua plugin system, statistics support (OSB/Bayes), and an AJAX-based Web interface.

Anteater is a log analyser for MTA logfiles (such
as those produced by sendmail and postfix). The
tool is written in 100% C++ and is very easy to
customize. Input, output, and the analysis are
modular class objects with a clear interface.
Currently, there are modules for reading the
syslog format of sendmail and postfix that do up
to eight useful analyses and write the result in
plain ASCII or HTML, to stdout or to files.

Lire is a pluggable log analyzer. It has analyzers for over 25 log file formats, ranging from Apache WWW log files to iptables firewall logs and CUPS printing logs. Reports are generated in 9 different output formats, ranging from Excel 95 to PDF to HTML, optionally with included graphs.

Policyd v2 (codenamed "cluebringer") is a multi-platform policy server for popular MTAs. This policy daemon is designed mostly for large scale mail hosting environments. The main goal is to implement as many spam combating and email compliance features as possible while at the same time maintaining portability, stability, and performance. Its features include detailed policy and group specification, access control, helo/ehlo checks (helo randomization prevention and RFC compliance), SPF checks, Greylisting, Quotas, and Amavisd-new integration.

The MIME Email message class composes and sends MIME encoded email messages. It features user-definable headers and body parts, support for plain text and HTML body, headers with non-ASCII text, HTML messages with embedded images, file attachments with content type detection, forwarding of messages as attachments, setting the error delivery address with the Return-Path header, and sub-classes for different delivery methods: mail, SMTP, Qmail, Sendmail, and Microsoft IIS or Exchange pickup folder. It also supports sending personalized bulk mail by replacing the message parts that differ for each recipient.

hipergate is a Web-based suite with intranet CRM, sales automation, email marketing, content management, a bug tracker, a project manager, groupware, a calendar, forums, file sharing, and directory services. It is based on Java /JSP for PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.

NullLogic Groupware is a modular Web-based groupware and email system designed for contact management and event scheduling. Additional features include private messaging, public discussion forums, webmail, shared bookmarks, file sharing, call tracking, order processing, an XML-RPC API, and integrated POP3 and SMTP servers.

GNU Anubis is an SMTP message submission daemon. It represents an intermediate layer between the mail user agent (MUA) and mail transport agent (MTA), receiving messages from the MUA, applying to them a set of predefined changes, and finally inserting modified messages into an MTA routing network. The set of changes applied to a message is configurable on a system-wide and per-user basis. The built-in configuration language used for defining sets of changes allows for considerable flexibility and is easily extensible.
